SIZING GUIDE

All Secret Powers Collars are adjustable and will fit within a certain range for each size. If your dog is still growing you would want to allow for that growth.

Optimal fit is less strapping when ordering with a clip. Add 2 extra inches to your dog’s neck measurement if you are ordering WITHOUT a clip so you have enough space to slide the collar over your dog’s head.

There are two types of secret powers collars—ones with a clip for easy on and off and ones without a clip…watch the video on this page to see the difference.

Measure: To find the right size collar for your dog, measure high around its neck to the back of its ears.

Proper Fit: Ensure the collar sits high on the dog’s neck, just below the ears. It should be snug but not too tight.

Leash Connection: Attach the leash to the ring on the collar, ensuring it’s securely fastened.

SMALL Micro Prong: These are 1.5mm micro prongs, typically for smaller breeds and can also be used larger breed dogs with short fur. They are made on 1 inch lightweight nylon webbing. All small collars are $65.00.                  
8 PRONG - Neck Size 10-11 inches

MEDIUM 2.3mm Prong: The most popular size! The medium size is a 2.3mm prong and a nice option for your dog who sits on the fence between small size and large size and has a short to medium coat. They are made on 1.5 inch nylon webbing.  All medium collars are $69.00.                  
6 PRONG 2.3 - Neck Size 13-14 inches

LARGE 3.2mm Prong: This is a large, heavy gauge 3.2mm prong made for dogs with a heavy coat or are double coated. The large prong is to be able to push through the heavy coat. This collar will stick out from the neck if the coat is not thick or long enough for the heavy coat to conceal the large prongs. They are made on 1.5 inch nylon webbing. Most dogs won’t need this collar! When in doubt we recommending sizing down. All large collars are $74.00.  

6 PRONG 3.2 - Neck Size 16-18 inches

SAFETY 

Always supervise your dog while using a prong collar, and remove it when your dog is unsupervised. The collar is intended for supervised use when walking or training.

The Secret Powers Collar should never be left on a dog during off leash play time with other dogs.

We recommend using a prong collar under the guidance of a professional dog trainer when available to ensure the best results and avoid misuse.

While prong collars can be effective for many dogs, they are not suitable for every pet. Consult with a professional trainer when available to determine if it’s the right choice for your dog.
