The medium size is a 2.3mm prong and a nice option for your dog who sits on the fence between small size and large size and has a short to medium coat.

Large Collars
This is a large, heavy gauge 3.2mm prong made for dogs with a heavy coat or are double coated. The large prong is to be able to push through the heavy coat. This collar will stick out from the neck if the coat is not thick or long enough to conceals the large prongs.
